Hello,

I realize that I may have confused some of the students at Williamsville about the idea of theme. I was using the word them to describe two different things. The first is the theme,idea,concept behind our entire project, IN A CIRCLE. The second is an actual musical theme, like the first phrase in Beethoven's Finale to the 5th Symph. ie. ba, ba, ba, bummm.

A piece of music can have both a conceptual theme, ie. love, and a musical theme like.....(insert the melody to your favorite love song here).
