Hi Sarah, This project is about collaboration. This is probobly a new experience for most people involved. Thanks for you honesty in expressing your thoughts. My suggestion would be to see this as a way to organize your artworks into a Powerpoint portfolio and try to develop the clarity that you say you didn't see in the video. I am stressing themes as a way to guide you into this clarity. Your thoughtful ideas will pay off. I guess your doing the project because your teachers thought there would be something of value to learn. This is what i believe. I would suggest that you take the challenge and start shooting MORE images. THIS is about making art and presenting it in a new way. BUT you have to have art to begin. So please shoot more images and find a way to make this project YOUR OWN.
THIS is what I learned in art school... You have to make or modify every assignment to be yours. Take the idea a run with it. MOdify what we are doing. Make it meangful for yourself, so that your not rentful of the time you are spending. The best students are not limited by a poor assignment.
