One of the reasons that this project is difficult for the music students is because music tends to be so abstract. In other words if I say I want to write a piece of music about a flower, you may find it difficult to recognize the flower in my music. On the other hand if I use words and I talk or sing about the flower it becomes more clear. But sometimes you can get an impression of a flower, what it may mean to you, like beauty, life, color, springtime etc. from a particular type of music tht has no words. The music doesn't actually describe a flower but it gives you the feeling of beuty, color, springtime. These are hard things to describe. We all know how difficult it is to describe feelings. Good luck. Write sgain with more of your thoughts.
