Walter Benjamin said we must retell history through a rearrangement of histories images. As such, my digital montages combine prime source images from books, photographs and art museums. The rug is from the Islamic Galleries at the Brooklyn Museum, the wood panels from a 17th century French wardrobe from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a photograph from the Museum of Modern Art and photographs from an internet Chekhov site.
